2025: Writer Teresa Stutler Starcher Now "Swimming To The Other Side"

August 2025 Teresa Stutler Starcher of Little Creek often wrote about Calhoun people of the sod, she growing up in the remote backwoods. She was a teller of tales about the smallest of adventures, bigger than life, using words that touch the heart. She was confined to a wheelchair most of her adult life following an accident. She just went to the great beyond, now among the fast fading of People of Place here in the backwoods. It has been a privilege to be her friend over the years, including being a member of the Calhoun Gilmer Writers Guild. Her beautiful singing voice and once had a shot to go to Nashville. Confined to a wheelchair, her husband Richard Starcher being he caregiver for many years. -Bob Weaver
