OMENS OF WINTER CROSS COUNTRYSIDE - Perfect Football Weather, Here's The Forecast

(10/23/2003)
The winds of winter have been crossing the hills at Hur this week, not yet cold, but a warning of things to come.

The sky is afloat with dark clouds that will soon create snow, with frequent bursts of sunlight bringing the landscape alive.

Winter is the season we try to keep the house as warm as it was in summer, when we complained about the heat.

These next two evenings will be great for football spectators, the Middle School vs. Clay game tonight and the Calhoun varsity vs. Ravenswood tomorrow night.

Thursday Night

Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 30s. Light north winds.

Friday

Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. Light southeast winds. Friday night it will be mostly clear. Lows in the lower 40s.
