|COOLVILLE - Naomi Travis, 73, of Coolville died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.|
She was born March 5, 1930, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Alton and Retta Richards Bell. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed gardening, canning and the country life. She also attended Faith Chapel Community Church, Coolville.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William (Bill) Travis; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Harold Blazier of Athens, Julia and John Horton and Kathy and Bill Duty of Little Hocking; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Hazel Tustin; and two brothers, Gary A. Collins and Gene Collins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, with Rev. Wilbert Lowe officiating. Burial will be in the Centennial Cemetery, Little Hocking. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
