CABEL WILL GET 650 JOBS - Wal-Mart Expanding |
(06/02/2003) |
About 650 new jobs are coming to West Virginia in Cabel County. Wal-Mart, the states largest private employer, will open two "Super Center" stores next summer near US 60. Keith Morris, community affairs manager, says Wal-Mart has outgrown an existing building, which will be closed. Studies show the local market can support an additional location. Wal-Mart mostly uses part-time help to operate their stores, paying minimum wages or slightly higher, although managers are able to develop a better salary structure. |
