Vera Madeline Wagoner, 92, of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at home.
She was born October 16, 1928 at Richardson, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Fred Whytsell, Sr. and Vena Riggs Whytsell. She was a homemaker and formerly attended the Leatherbark Community Church.
She is survived by two sons, Michael (Carol) Wagoner of Hartville, Ohio and Steve (Joyce) Wagoner of Peninsula, Ohio; two sisters, Lola âTinkâ Moss and Barbara (George) Church, both of Arnoldsburg; two brothers, Frank (Jenny) and Ben ( Sherry) Whytsell, all of Arnoldsburg; four grandchildren, Shane (Autumn), Heather, Nate, and Andrea Wagoner; four great-grandchildren; two cats, Chloe and Tandy; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Wagoner; an infant daughter; three sisters, Juanita Batten, and Imogene and Laverne Whytsell; and five brothers, Fred âJoeâ, Ray, George, Richard, and Donald Whytsell.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Eventide Cemetery in Spencer, West Virginia, with Pastor Rick Metheney officiating. |
