MURDER UPDATE: 42-YEAR-OLD CLAY MAN VICTIM OF STABBING |

| UPDATE - West Virginia State Police officials say a man was found dead with multiple stab wounds over the weekend in Clay County. No new information was released Tuesday regarding a suspect. Jason Brell Knight, 42, was found around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 13 in the Hansford Fork Road area, according to a news release from State Police. Knight had what appeared to be multiple stab wounds to the head, neck and torso, according to a medical examiner. Knight's body was taken to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy. Knight faced criminal charges earlier in Calhoun County. ORIGINAL STORY According to Clay County Dispatch, there was a stabbing on Hansford Fork Road around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday evening. The victim is said to be a male, but there is no other information available at this time. The West Virginia State Police are investigating this incident. |
