Della Mae Isenhart, 71 of Jarvisville WV departed this earthly life in the afternoon hours of Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the home of her son Ernie, following an extended illness.
She was born August 2, 1949 in Gilmer County, daughter of the late Ray Cook and Edith Lemon Cook Dobbins.
Della was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, canning, gardening, and was an amazing cook. She loved spending time with family and friends, spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whenever possible and living the quiet life in West Virginia.
Della was also a former employee of Kenny Shoe Factory in Glenville with 20 yearsâ experience and was a Baptist by faith.
On December 27, 1968 Della was united in marriage to Roger Lee Isenhart, who preceded her in death on April 19, 2019.
Surviving are 5 children, Roger Isenhart and wife Dianna of Lumberport WV, Norman Isenhart and wife Tonya of Cedarville WV, Roy Isenhart and wife Darlene of Cedarville, Charles Isenhart and fiancée Amanda Stewart of Glenville, and Ernie Isenhart and wife Amber of Jarvisville WV; and 4 siblings, George Cook and wife Linda of Normantown WV, Glenda Dobbins of Virginia, Jack Dobbins of Florida, and Dave Dobbins of Ohio.
Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at the Ross Cemetery in Flatwoods WV at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 with Elder Larry Fisher officiating.
