Roane 911 said they received a cell phone call that a man had been stabbed and was walking down the road, unable to get the caller back.

Police indicated they were likely familiar with the parties involved.

Little Pigeon is in a very remote area, and reaches into Clay County at Procious.

No other information available.

Roane authorities arrested two individuals Saturday night, unknown if connected to the stabbing call.

Matthew Ray Alvis, 36, was charged with domestic assault and battery, brandishing and wanton endangerment.

They also arrested James Dolan Reid, 58, charging him person prohibited with a firearm and cultivation of marijuana.

They are in Central Regional Jail.
