Two Clay County men have been arrested in connection with a break-in investigation earlier this month in Fayette County.

An ATV and high-end competition rifles were originally reported stolen from the Auxier farm on Oct.1, according to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office. A family member found the ATV along the roadway in the Cannelton area.

Benjamin A. Stewart has been charged with breaking and entering, grand larceny and conspiracy to commit a felony for his role in the incident, according to a news release. Stewart was already in Central Regional Jail on unrelated charges.

Jonathan McGlothlin faces the same charges. He was arrested in Clay County by the Clay County Sheriff's Office.

All the custom-made firearms have been recovered. They were valued at more than $30,000.
