PM SATURDAY: 52 NEW COVID-19 CASES IN WV - Virus Raging In Some US States

Fifty-two new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the Mountain State Saturday, as the coronavirus is roaring out of control in a number of US states.

The state’s daily positive test rate Saturday finished at 2.30%, according to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. The overall positive test rate remained at 1.68%.

The total of positive cases in the state now sits at 2,782 after the 5 p.m. update. There are now 633 active cases in West Virginia.

Of the total active cases, 32 are currently hospitalized, including 10 in intensive care.
