BECKLEY MURDER - Beckley police are asking for the public’s help finding a Charleston man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting Wednesday night.

Tremaine Lamar Jackson, 27, is wanted for first degree murder in the shooting death Troy Lee Williams, according to a news release.

Police said Jackson’s last known location was Charleston, but he also has ties to Charlotte, North Carolina. He is considered armed and dangerous.

The shooting happened about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of Pet Supplies Plus in Beckley.

Anyone with information on the shooting or the location of Jackson is urged to contact detective Cpl. Nick Walters at 304-256-1708 or Crime Stoppers of West Virginia.

There is a cash reward for information leading to an arrest. Additional charges are expected.
