He was born July 22, 1939 in Gilmer County, WV, a son of the late Earl Starrett and Delpha Mae Nicholas White.

He was a farmer and an avid hunter and fox chaser. He loved going to church and singing.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Marie Parsons White; son Todd (Jessie) White; sisters Carol (Phillip) Hamm and Linda Cottrill; and grandson Harrison White.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by several brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Tom Law officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Minnora Cemetery.
