A driver of a concrete truck lost control of his vehicle at the sharp turn at the bottom of Jackson Hill, Rt. 16 north of Five Forks.

A report from the scene said the driver escaped with minor injuries.

Some concrete spilled on the highway.

The Grantsville VFD and Calhoun EMS responded at 1:50 p.m.

Cpl. Jeff Hunt of WV State Police is investigating.

The Upper West Fork VFD and Clay responders answered to a 911 call shortly afterward regarding a vehicle over the hill along Rt. 16 near the Clay-Calhoun line.

Responders searched the stretch of the highway and had yet to discover a vehicle.
