LONGTIME CARPENTERS GENERAL STORE HAS TURNED OFF THE LIGHTS

A mainstay stop-off general store for Calhoun residents is closed - Carpenters General Store on Bowers Hill near Spencer. The store was originated by Shirley Hicks, in the 1950s. It has long been known for super-friendly clerks operating the very busy country store.
