Garnett will best be remembered by those who knew and loved her for her unconditional love, strong will, her open heart and door. She was the cornerstone of her family taking the time to remain ever present and caring for her extended family and friends. She was always there to listen and provide sound words of wisdom. Many knew her as Nan, from her grandchildren to the friends who she was just as much as a mother or grandmother to. In her final days she spent many hours reaffirming her love to a lot of the people who she had impacted over the course of her lifetime. She grew up in an era defined by hard work and straight talk, but without love for one another there was no surviving and love is something she had more than enough to give, which is her true legacy.
