POLICE SEARCHING FOR DAVID GILBERT RIFFLE - Failure To Appear For Sentencing

West Virginia State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a man who they said failed to appear for sentencing after pleading guilty to several charges, including soliciting a minor via computer.

David Gilbert Riffle, 44 (right) was last seen in Gassaway in Braxton County, State Police said.

Riffle is wanted on a felony failure to appear when he failed to show up for sentencing. State Police said he pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor via computer and three counts of use of obscene matter with the intent to seduce a minor.

State Police said Riffle should be considered possibly armed and dangerous.

He was last seen driving an older model silver BMW. Riffle been seen in the Sutton, Braxton County area, Morgantown, Monongalia County area, and Summersville, Nicholas County area.

Anyone who has information about his location is asked to contact Sgt. A.J. Shingler of the State Police Sutton Detachment at 304-765-2101.
