| Calhoun EMS and law enforcement responded to a man, described as about 50, unresponsive in a ditch along Route 16 near Cadle Run, a short distance from the Clay County line. Motorists discovered the man about 4:30 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to Roane General Hospital. State Police responded to a call regarding an erratic woman on US 33-119 on Letherbark near Pink Road at 5 p.m. Thursday. The homeowner told 911 that the woman had been knocking on their door and then entered a parked car, rummaging through the vehicle. She was taken into custody a short time late by law enforcement while walking along the highway. |
