WEST VIRGINIA RANKED 50TH AS WORST STATE FOR SINGLES

If you're single on this Valentine's Day, a new report says West Virginia is the worst place in the country to find love. West Virginia, unfortunately, makes most worst lists. West Virginia ranked 50th on WalletHub's Best and Worst States for Singles report released this month. WalletHub compared 50 states across 28 indicators of "dating-friendliness." Among the three key dimensions, the report ranked West Virginia 47th in dating economics, 41st in dating opportunities, and 44th in romance and fun. It also said West Virginia had the fewest mobile-dating opportunities. Some of West Virginia's neighboring states fared well in the report. Pennsylvania ranked fifth and Ohio was seventh. Neighboring Virginia is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its "Virginia is for Lovers" slogan, but it was ranked 19th on WalletHub's report.
