Charleston police officers arrested Amber Guest, 25, after they said she shot a man in the foot, according to a news release from the department.

The shooting happened shortly before 6 p.m. at 1311 Renaissance Circle in Charleston.

The victim, Mark Luchkiw, 35, was transported to CAMC General Hospital with what police said were non-life-threatening injuries.

Guest is being charged with malicious wounding and wanton endangerment.
