SOCIETY CREATES PRESERVATION FUND - Donations Needed For Endowment |

The Calhoun Historical Society is seeking financial support to help with existing and
future projects, including the Steven's one room school at Calhoun County Park and
the development of the Stump Hotel in Grantsville. The Society is creating a Historic Preservation Endowment Fund to be use for fixed costs, maintenance and improvements, according to President Bob Bonar. "All fund money will be deposited in a special interest bearing account separate from other society money, and the interest will be used for fund purposes," said Bonar. The principal will always remain, ensuring perpetuity. All donations are tax deductible, and can be made in the following manner: - Anonymous - Donor's name - In memory of a person - Groups A permanent record of contributions will be kept, names of those donating $100 or more will be inscribed on a plaque to be displayed in the Society's museum.
