The Grantsville VFD responded to the incident at 9:30 p.m., with firemen having difficultly getting trucks to the scene, the long access road was described as treacherous.

A least one truck managed to get to the fire and kept the main dwelling safe.

Calhoun 911 was notified that all occupants were out of the dwelling.

From a nearby hillside roaring flames appeared to be leaping 50-60 feet in the air, with what one resident described as thousands of rounds of ammo exploding.
