| In Tuesday's election, Anita Harold Ashley, of Spencer, won the race for Non-Partisan District 5 - Division 3 Circuit Judge. Division 3 covers Roane, Calhoun, Jackson and Mason counties. Also running was Larry Whited of Grantsville, and Seth Harper of Spencer. Ashley won with a total of 4,960 state votes. Harper received 3,912. Whited's total state votes was 3,517. He led his opponents in Calhoun County with 1,264 to Ashley's 622 and Harper's 157.
