BRAXTON MAN CHARGED WITH TRYING TO BURN HOUSE DOWN

A Braxton County man has been arrested after allegedly trying to burn down a house. William Brown, Jr. , 33, is facing multiple charges after allegedly putting a propane tank on the porch of a home on Grass Run Road and trying to burn a pile of wood. The criminal complaint also says he allegedly had a rifle, kicked in the door, and cut the house's phone line. Brown has been charged with Arson 4th degree, domestic assault, domestic battery, brandishing a deadly weapon, destruction of property, and obstructing. He is in Central Regional Jail.
