AUTHORITIES MAKE CALHOUN ARRESTS

A Calhoun man has been arrested for petit larceny, obstructing an officer, hunting without license and illegal possession of wildlife. Jerry Dwight Hess, 33, is in Central Regional Jail. He is charged with Petit Larceny, Obstructing an Officer, Hunting without a license, and illegal possession of wildlife. Jason Kyle Conrad, 36, has been charged by Calhoun authorities with obstructing and false information. He is in Central Regional Jail. Also charged and incarcerated from Calhoun, Paul H. Hunter, 22, with driving suspended. Michelle Dawn Shaffer, 41, was charged in Roane with simple possession and possession of marijuana and is in Central Regional Jail. Gary Paul Ferrell, 50, was sent to Central Regional Jail on a capias warrant from Calhoun. Geoffrey Allen Shaffer, 27, was charged in Roane with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of marijuana. He is in Central Regional Jail. Rodney Karvis Drake, 32, was charged by Braxton authorities for domestic battery.
