BRAXTON MAN JAILED WITH FIVE OFFENSES

A Braxton County man, Roger Dewayne Furby, 40, has been arrested on multiple charges. Furby is charged with nighttime burglary, destruction of property, domestic assault, domestic battery, and violation of a protective order. He is in Central Regional Jail with bond yet to be set. David Phillip Stone, 44, of Clay County has been charged with domestic assault and battery. He is in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $15,000. Clay authorities arrested Amanda Marie Jones, 31, and charged her with DUI-3rd offense. She is in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $25,000. Roane authorities have charged Loretta Hays Nichols, 32, with failure to pay child support. She is in Central Regional Jail. Tawnya Marie Smith, 41, has been charged by Gilmer authorities as a fugitive from justice. She is in Central Regional Jail.
