She was born November 19, 1938 in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Desimon and Maggie Norman Richards. She was the wife of the late Ivan Foster Cunningham. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are two children, Iris (Kathryn) Stutler and husband Terry of Barberton, Ohio and Steven Cunningham and wife Carolyn of Pleasant Hill, WV. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mildred (Penny) Cunningham; two brothers; and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Alfred Hickman officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Big Springs Cemetery.
