Shannon Marie (Vlach) Fasogbon, 32, of Elizabeth, West Virginia, passed away suddenly and peacefully at her home on Monday November 2, 2015.She was born in Parkersburg WV, the daughter of Linda Diane Vlach of Elizabeth. She was a 2001 graduate of Wirt County High School and a 2003 graduate of Fairmont State College. She was an active member of the New Home Methodist Church at Palestine WV and was an employee of the Wirt County Journal. Shannon was a loving wife, mother and daughter. She loved her family dearly. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Kunle Fasogbon and their children Zavion, Kiaunna, Quincy and Kyron Fasogbon, all of Elizabeth; grandparents, Ellen Vlach of Elizabeth and Jerald Vlach of Elizabeth; aunt, Kim Burrows of Parkersburg WV; uncle, Ronnie Vlach of Elizabeth; cousins, Ashley Villers (David) of Mineral Wells WV, Kris Villers (Jodi) of Elizabeth and Jordan Vlach of Elizabeth; foster sisters, Cindy Lynch (Rich) and Christina Sims (Alan) of Palestine; extended family, Brianna and Trenton Lynch, Luke and Lilly Sims, Zandrika and Zakoda Villers, Kendyll Villers, Brantley Herrington and Cole Cheuvront. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2015 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with the Rev. Lee Williams officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 4 until 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be at New Home (Mayberry) Cemetery.
