GILMER MAN SHOT DURING DISPUTE |

A man was flown to the hospital while another was taken into custody after a shooting on Turkey Fork in Gilmer County. 31-year-old Nathan Thompson was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital after his neighbor, 19-year-old John Lambos, allegedly shot him in the leg. State Police told media the two got into a dispute over an animal. Lambos suffered non-life threatening injuries. The incident happened about 1 p.m. Saturday.
