CALHOUN STATE POLICE RESPOND TO 911 MURDER CALL - Incident Described As Hoax |

| State Police and responders were dispatched Monday night to what was described as a murder on Rowels Run, about 5 miles from Mt. Zion, Rt. 16, near the Village of Hur. Authorities reported from the scene that the call was a hoax, investigating a possible disturbance at the residence. Calhoun 911 received a call reporting a murder about 10:35 p.m. Nearby neighbors were alarmed when authorities arrived on the scene, unaware of a problem. State Police were on scene late Monday night investigating the incident. |
