The Premier Bank of Ripley was held-up shortly before noon Wednesday. The suspect using a gun, quickly fled the scene. Several schools in the area were on a precautionary lock-down throughout the day. West Virginia State Police say the suspect was dressed in black clothing, wearing a black motorcycle helmet and carrying a tan bag. The robber was immediately pursued by police who chased the man in black through a heavily wooded area just outside Ripley. MAN ARRESTED AFTER GUNFIRE - Morgantown police arrested one man on a wanton endangerment charge after a fight Wednesday in Morgantown. Omar Barghouthi, 20, of Beckley, was charged with one count of wanton endangerment. He is listed as a WVU student. Officers said they found that two men had been involved in a fight and one of the men had pulled out a handgun and fired a shot. The shooter left the scene and was caught shortly by police.
