| Authorities arrested a Calhoun man Monday and charged him with domestic battery and domestic assault 1st/2nd, without display of a weapon. Joel Cory Hayes, 31, is in Central Regional Jail on the misdemeanor charges. Bond has been set at $4,000. Gilmer authorities arrested Joe Williams, 49, and charged him with conspiracy to commit a felony, He is in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $100,000.
