Molessa was a 1966 graduate of Calhoun County High School and was a member of the Calhoun Board of Education from 1984 through 1992. He was employed at Dupont Washington Works from 1969 until he retired in 2005.

He was a member of Eureka Lodge No. 40 in Grantsville and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite and attended the South Parkersburg Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Sunday June 1, at 2:00pm at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville will Rev. Joe Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow in Cutler Ohio.

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
