For your pets safety, have then on a leash or confined in a cage or box, allowing air for the animal. State law requires that all dogs and cats be vaccinated for rabies no earlier than 3 months of age, no later than 6 months of age and that they be revaccinated 1 year after the first vaccination then every 3 years after that. Penalties for noncompliance with the law shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than $10 nor more than $50 or be confined in the county jail not less than 10 days nor more than 60 days or both.
