CALHOUN CIRCUIT COURT HAS THREE FELONY CASES WEDNESDAY - Grand Jury Indictments Set For First Appearance |

Calhoun Circuit Court will be in session Wednesday with Judge David W. Nibert presiding. Individuals who were indicted Tuesday by a Calhoun Grand Jury are set for first appearances. Patricia Connell, about 50, is scheduled for a status hearing. Connell had been indicted on one count of arson, 1st degree, a felony; malicious assault, a felony; and destruction of property, a felony. These charges stem from an incident in September 2012. Zachary Rush Thomas, about 20, is set to appear for a status hearing. Thomas was charged in 2012 for breaking and entering and receiving/transferring stolen property, among other charges. Matthew Ryan Nicholas, about 31, is set to appear related to a motion to revoke home confinement. The charges against Nicholas are related to grand larceny and burglary. Ten juvenile cases are on the docket. |
