CALHOUN CONNECTED WOMAN DIES SUDDENLY - Help Family Of Holly Beth White

Holly Beth White, age 22, of Mathias, WV, a woman connected to several Calhoun families, passed away on April 27, 2014 at a Winchester Virginia Medical Center, suffering sudden death from a pulmonary embolism.

She was the daughter of Gerald and Jennifer (Umstead) White of Mathias WV.

Holly's father is Jerry White from Linn WV, his parents formerly owned White's Insurance Agency in Linn. Holly's mother is Jennifer Umstead White, originally from Calhoun. Jennifer's mother is Mary Umstead of Mathias, a former teacher at Calhoun High School. Jennifer's father was David Umstead, who owned an insurance company in Calhoun.

Holly was working for Con Mat Group as a receptionist when she died. She was a member of the Agape Family Fellowship Church and Aletheia Church of Harrisonburg. She graduated Magna cum Laude from Fairmont State with a BA degree in secondary education, and was set to be married in a few months.

Friend Kayla Williams said, "Like many young adults, she had no life insurance. Therefore, her family who is already facing financial hardships and the loss of their daughter is now dealing with the stressful issue of coming up with money to pay for a funeral."
