ISLAND RUN CABIN BURNS TO GROUND |

| A cabin on Island Run, about two miles off Boggs Fork, east of Spencer, burned to the ground Friday. The Spencer-Roane VFD responded to a 911 call to the location about 3:30 p.m. The cabin, in a remote area, belonged to the Lemaster family for many years. The cause of the blaze was not known. |
