COOPERATIVE PARISH AWARDS 2013 SCHOLARSHIPS

The Calhoun County Cooperative Parish of the United Methodist Church is very pleased to announce the recipients of the $500 scholarship and the $250 scholarship for the year 2013. The $500 scholarship has been awarded to Devon Toppings of Grantsville, WV. He is the son of Tim and Connie Toppings and the late Marcella Toppings. Devon is a member of Knotts United Methodist Church in Grantsville. He is planning on continuing his education at Glenville State College. The $250 scholarship has been awarded to Trisha Turner of Millstone, WV Trisha is the daughter of Gene and Lori Little. She is also a member of Knotts United Methodist Church in Grantsville. Trisha plans to continue her education at WV Wesleyan in Buckannon. "May God's blessings be upon them as they travel down life's pathway of higher learning," said Pastor Rick Metheney.
