UPDATE: CLAY WOMAN CHARGED WITH PASSING $50 COUNTERFEIT BILL

A Clay County woman has been charged with counterfeiting. 31-year-old Amy Ellen Jones of Lizemores is in Central Regional Jail on charges related to counterfeiting. Cpl. R. R. Cevera arrested Jones, according to the criminal complaint, of passing a $50 counterfeit US currency bill to a woman, who gave her change. Jones, according to authorities, passed other counterfeit bills. Jones is being held on $100,000 bond.
