He was born in Oil City, Penn., a son of the late Richard John and Dorothy Mae Dodd Stoudt.

John was a laborer, Air Force veteran and Catholic. He enjoyed wood working.

Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline of Spencer; a son, Richard also of Spencer; a brother and sister, Jim and Susanne both of Oil City, Penn.; three grandchildren, Alexia, Sarah and Elijah; one step grandchild, Matthew.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 4 at 6 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
