Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Delbert and Irene Miller Collins.

Helen loved to cook, sew, and be surrounded by her family.

Surviving are her husband, Howard F. Travis; a daughter, Rosie (Brady) Seebaugh; sons, Robert Hickman, Sonny (Becky) Hickman; Harvey (Robin) M. Travis, III, and Leonard Travis; three stepchildren; 18 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; and special friends Greg and Lindy Travis.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Annabelle Bennett; her husband, Harvey M. Travis, Jr.; a daughter, Bertie J. Hickman; and a stepson, Carl Travis.

Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 26 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville with Pastor Joe Bush officiating. Interment will be in Saunders Cemetery at Big Springs.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Tuesday until time of services.
