MORE "LAST STOPLIGHTS" REMOVED IN WEST VIRGINIA - Lincoln Joins The Club |
(06/07/2002) |
Calhoun has some new company in the rural category. Lincoln County just lost their
only traffic light. The West Virginia Department of Highways downgraded to a
caution-light, and the Town of Hamlin will have 60 days to prove a real traffic light is
needed. The stoplight has been in place since the 1940's, when the town was not so sleepy. Calhoun, Clay, Wirt and Wyoming County are also "stoplightless." |
