|Pamela Holley Kidd, 52, of Walton, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2011, in Roane General Hospital, Spencer, after a long battle with renal failure and diabetes.|
She was born November 8, 1958, at Montgomery, a daughter of the late Henry and Edith Harper Holley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a special aunt, Margaret Holbert.
Pamela was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking and making her special Christmas cookies with her grandsons. She was a member of the Church of Christ and attended services at Gandeeville WV.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Jack and Crystal Barnett of Gandeeville and Joey Barnett of Charleston WV; a daughter, Kristina Kidd and her fiancé, Brian Cottrell of Spencer WV; two grandsons, Isaac and Jordan Barnett of Gandeeville; her very important "special someone," Joe Smith of Walton; a sister, Shelia Cantrell of Columbus OH; two brothers, Mike Holley of Spencer and Joe Holley of Columbus OH; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Monday, September 5 at 3:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Minister Robin Kessinger officiating. Burial will be in the Holbert Family Cemetery, Cotton Tree.
