Born at Douglas, Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late George and Aretha Hicks King.

Surviving are her husband, Charles; a son, DeWayne; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl, Otis and James; and a son, Steve.

Friends may call at Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 27. Burial will be in the Hicks Cemetery at Chloe.
