A serious truck accident has reportedly injured more than one person near
the Roane-Kanawha County line, inside Roane County, on U.S. 119. Roane
County EMS, the Walton Volunteer Fire Department and emergency services
from nearby Clendenin were responding to the scene at 4:30 p.m. Friday. Early reports said at least one of the occupants was trapped in the truck, which reportedly struck a tree head-on. Reports indicated medical conditions to be serious and HealthNet was scheduled to land nearby.
