He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, a son of the late Edward and Clara Belle King Bugden. He was a professional fisherman and was a member of the Apostolic Church in Grantsville.

Surviving are his wife, Freda Cottrell Bugden; a sister Reta Rogerson of Davenport, Iowa; step children, Linda Patterson, Russell Falls, Rick Falls, Mary McCumbers and Judy Stanford; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
