Yellow Creek resident Wayne Farrell, 53, was released from a Charleston hospital
Wednesday after suffering injuries in a Boone County drilling accident. Family members report he is still suffering dizziness and headaches, after a 4 1/2" pipe stuck his head last Friday night. He suffered a concussion, bruising and hemorrhaging to the brain. Farrell and his son-in-law David Jones were making connections when the pipe elevator unlatched. Jones suffered a broken collarbone from the falling pipe. but was released the following day. |
