|Ruby M. Starcher, 82, of Nebo, West Virginia, died Saturday, March 16, 2008.|
She was born in Nebo, the daughter of the late Alec West and Addie Tanner.
Surviving are six sons, Jack, Clark (Carol), Bim (Vickie), Bub, Bill and Gary (Ann) Starcher; four daughters, Carolyn Beck, Delsie (Bob) Pierson, Thelma Ree (John) Schlesinger and Kathie (Kenlie) Fuiten; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and five brothers and sisters, Ota, Berthie, Ollie, Homer and Ed.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lambert Starcher, and one daughter, Martha Starcher.
Mal loved Jesus, she also loved to hunt, fish, quilt and can. She welcomed everyone to her home whether in West Virginia or Ohio. You could grab a biscuit, get a cup of coffee and a smoke, and shoot the bull at Mal's house anytime. She will be missed by all.
Services were held Thursday, March 20 at Unity Gospel Tabernacle, Nebo. Burial was in in Coen Cemetery.
Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg was in charge of arrangements.
