EMERGENCY SERVICES RESPOND TO FOUR VEHICLE ACCIDENTS |

Following a heavy rain Wednesday night, lots of falling leaves, some sleet and a few snow flurries, Calhoun had four separate auto accidents Thursday. Fortunately, no one was taken to the hospital from any of the wrecks. 7:36 a.m. - Reported two vehicles crashed on Rt. 16, two miles south of Arnoldsburg, with Calhoun EMS, the Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Department and Cpl. Doug Starcher responding. 3:59 p.m. - A Ford truck went out of control, turning over on its side, just south of Chloe Hardware on Rt. 16, with the Upper West Fork VFD and Calhoun EMS responding. 4:07 p.m. - A car went over the hill on Pleasant Hill, Rt. 16, two miles north of Grantsville. Occupants out of vehicle. Deputy Justin Metheney responding. 6:25 p.m. - Rt. 5 west of Cabot Station near intersection of Big Root Rd., single car, responding Calhoun EMS, Grantsville VFD and Deputy Justin Metheney. |
