She was born May 17, 1929, in Calhoun County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Glen Smith and Mary Pearl Selmon Richards. She was a member of the Cedar Grove United Methodist Church and founder and co-owner of Parker Electric and Sign Service

She is survived by two sons, Mark Parker of Williamstown and Jerrold Parker of Lakeland, Fla.; four grandchildren; and one sister, Sue Wayne of Steubenville, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Franklin Parker, and one brother, Delmas Smith.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Mr. Jerry Harman and Mr. Roger Wayne officiating.
