Born in Calhoun County, he was a son of Henry Marks of Millstone and the late Vena Marks. He was a former employee of Burke-Parsons and Bolby Company and was a foreman at Gatewood Products, Inc.

Surviving in addition to his father is a daughter, Laura Murphy of Millstone and 2 grandchildren, Rachelle and Shania Murphy.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 22 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Interment will be in the Sand Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services Tuesday.
